Who I am
I’m a Minnesota native who cares deeply about the community I serve. While Minnesota will always feel like home, my training took me to both Chicago and New York, where I had the opportunity to learn from incredible clinicians and work with people from many different backgrounds. Those experiences helped shape the way I approach therapy today—with curiosity, flexibility, and respect for each person’s unique story.
Throughout my training, I worked in schools, community mental health programs, and outpatient clinics. These settings allowed me to support children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating a wide range of challenges. Each experience strengthened my belief that meaningful change happens when people feel understood, supported, and empowered.
Outside of my professional role, I’m also a parent. Like many parents, I experience the ups and downs that come with raising children. Parenting has taught me that there is no single “right” way to approach challenges. What works beautifully for one child may not work for another—and that’s okay. I find comfort in knowing that when we take the time to understand each child’s individual personality and needs, we can discover approaches that truly help them thrive.
This philosophy carries into my work as a therapist. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming space where clients feel comfortable being themselves. Together, we work to understand challenges, build on strengths, and find practical strategies that support growth and well-being.
Education:
BA in Psychology and Community Studies, the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor
Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology, The Chicago School of Professional Psychology
What I offer
I’m a licensed clinical psychologist with over 10 years of experience supporting children, teens, and young adults. I take a warm, directive approach, helping clients build practical skills for change while feeling understood and supported. My work is individualized, drawing from cognitive behavioral and relational techniques, and I collaborate with parents, schools, and other providers as needed. I also offer parent coaching to strengthen support at home.
